Burn Calories
When new members start training with us there are different fitness levels and everyone’s body is a different. As members progress in their training, they find their fitness increases and they get effective results. In our club, members work at a pace and level that is appropriate for them, you can go as hard or as easy or as you want to.
Fitness
Your fitness levels, strength and conditioning will all improve training in our Ladies only Kickboxing class. We use many different methods of fitness training from our qualified coaches, the video shows just one example
Tone up
It will also help you to build strength, speed and improve your flexibility. You’ll be burning lots of calories, hitting bags and pads plus working with a partner to working on sparring drills and generally having a great time with friends and learning new things.
Can 'I' do Kickboxing?
The thing that the attendees at our Ladies only Kickboxing classes have in common, is that they are all different; different ages, different shapes, different fitness levels and are of different abilities.
In a nutshell, our women only Kickboxing class can be taken by anyone. You don’t have to be fit to start training. But you will get fit training with us, we guarantee that.
How do I train safely
We will teach your the fundamental skills of Kickboxing to help you develop both your physical techniques and also your knowledge. We train safely using our wide selection of focus pads and bags to practice our techniques along with partnerwork for self defence practice.
You will also work with a partner on a number of sparring drills to help improve your reflexes and skills. Our key focus for all coaches and members is to train safely to minimise the risk of injury so that you can enjoy your training and maximise your learning.
Self Protection
We hope that you’ll never have to use the skills that you learn here. Our focus is to teach you the avoidance skills, knowledge and information to avoid potentially dangerous situations, so physical confrontations, wherever possible, are not necessary.
We sometimes forget that the biggest ‘self protection win’ is a renewed attention on having a healthy mind and body. Our Ladies only classes will help you to beat physical inactivity and to maintain good mental health for life.
